Jo is an artist based in Northern California, where she lives with her four children, husband, and two dogs. Although she has been taking photos her whole life, a major shift in life sparked a desire to return to college to study photography in earnest. Her creative photography is often conceptual and story-driven, creating manipulated dreamscapes that explore themes of mortality, isolation, and the frailty of the human shell. Her love of travel and adventure takes her outside, where, through her camera, she looks for the small breaks in reality that sometimes go unnoticed. She earned a BFA in Digital Photography from Arizona State University in May 2026.
